The Peak mark

Eight paths on a 750×761 canvas, rendered from the supplied artefact’s own path data. Two colours that belong to the logo and move for nothing:

#1B399D · Brand blue
the wings and inner chevrons
#BC3538 · Brand red
the peak and the bands

Source of truth: website/public/brand/peak-logo-mark.svg. Supplied as SVG and PNG; the component reads the SVG’s paths so the two can never drift.

Archive — superseded

Kept drawn, not described. Each of these was the mark at the time, and the reasons they changed are in the log below.

Retired Aug 13, 2026

The three-diamond weave

An interim construction that stood in until the real artefact arrived. Three interlocking diamonds — navy, red, navy — woven like chain links, with the red passing over in two quadrants and under in the other two.

Drawn as explicit polygons rather than rotated rectangles so the vertices stayed crisp at lockup size. Retired because it was a stand-in, not because it failed.

    Craft

The applications are built for a phone in a truck cab

The driver and warehouse applications ask what peakscs.com asked for years, minus a resume and a specific-position line Peak struck, with years of experience typed as a number. Every question is a sentence in the body face, every control is 48px tall at 16px so a phone does not zoom, every yes/no is two tap targets, and when you can start is four choices with a date box only for a specific date. A red bar pinned to the bottom is ready on landing, names the next blank required question, jumps to it, and becomes the submit button once nothing is left. The quote and contact forms got the same treatment. Peak asked for all of it in one sitting.

    Identity

Peak's own footage enters the story

Two homepage beats now carry footage Peak supplied rather than art direction: the ramp plays a tug pulling a ULD train at sunset over a still of the same scene, and the close plays a night timelapse of a marked tractor at the lit dock over a frame of the same take. Each loops, with its last second dissolved into its first so the wrap does not snap. The same day Peak set the order of every beat, words first and then the picture, so no two moving frames ever touch, and put Partner with Peak in red as the hero's one action.

    Decision

Telegram is the channel; the inbox is the record

Every form on the site posts to Peak's recruiting group in Telegram within seconds through @Peaksuprecruitingbot, laid out the way the old bot did it, and lands in the gated inbox at peaksup.com/admin as the permanent record. Routing by terminal is built and waits on Peak posting a mention of the bot in each terminal chat. The rack card was re-cut to sixteen markets and the site's own lines, with a scan-to-apply code on the back; the pitch became a partnership update now the engagement is signed; and this library opens with a dated review panel so staff check the site against one list.

    Identity

Move Freight Forward takes the front door

A sixth homepage concept shipped straight to production: a photographic premium story built on the peak-visual-system shot list, opening on the Cascadia at blue hour under “Move freight forward” with the promise — every load cared for, every driver home safe. The reel it replaced remains live in the library as concept 02. Registered in the concepts index with the Live badge; the index now records graduations rather than pretending the front door never changes.

    Identity

The three-diamond chain returns as the mark

Leadership went back to the original identity: the three interlocking diamonds, navy (#0A3080) and signal red (#B52128), drawn as an alternating chain. Extracted verbatim from the newly supplied lockups rather than redrawn, on a 627x412 canvas. The four-pointed star that served from Aug 13 is retired after a week in the field; both artefacts remain in this record.

  6. Aug 13, 2026

    Identity

The supplied mark replaces the interim weave

The real brand artefact arrived and is now the mark everywhere the lockup appears. It carries its own blue (#1B399D) and red (#BC3538), rendered from the artefact's own path data rather than redrawn. The three-diamond weave that stood in until now is archived above, drawn rather than described.

Game-engine render pass on the journey

The drive gains a tiered post-processing stack — ambient occlusion, selective bloom, SMAA, a mild depth of field and a grain floor — plus image-based lighting and soft shadows. The register is high-end game, deliberately not photoreal: generated imagery must never read as photography of real fleet. Composition unchanged.

    Decision

Dispatch messaging: Peak builds its own platform

Routing drivers through a vendor means buying or reimbursing an identity per owner-operator, then training them off the chats they already use. A free cross-platform app Peak controls costs nothing to add a driver. The record is filed by load, not by person.

  9. Aug 13, 2026

    Decision

    Phone platform: Teams Phone

Ten vendors checked; only two publish pricing a 1,000-seat office can actually buy. $10 is a PBX with no dial tone — the real base is $17, plus Teams Premium for supervisors and metered toll-free inbound.

  10. Aug 2026

    Identity

    Wordmark refined

“Supply Chain Solutions” moved from IBM Plex Mono at 6.4px to the sans at a readable size with measured tracking. Mono rasterised to fuzz at lockup size. Mono now stays where it belongs: data and labels, never the brand's own name.

  11. Aug 2026

    Craft

    Imagery register rule

The site mixes real, stylized and generated imagery. Generated art stays in a stylized register and is never presented as photography of real fleet. Frames carrying an incorrect mark are banned everywhere, and the curation report is law.

Every shipped URL earns a favicon and an unfurl card

A link pasted into a thread is the first impression far more often than the page is. Cards are live captures of the page itself, never a stylized stand-in for it.
